Ronald Kim is the Chief Operating Officer for Prospera Hotels, Inc.  He joined Prospera Hotels in 2013 as the Senior Vice President, Real Estate.  Ron has over 25 years of experience in real estate and hotel finance, asset management and acquisitions. 

Ron’s primary responsibilities at Prospera are asset management including strategic direction and oversight of the hotel assets within the portfolio; business development including real estate acquisitions and company growth; and corporate strategy.  During Ron’s tenure, Prospera has become a top 10 developer in Orange County developing/owning/operating over 800+ hotel rooms in the Anaheim Resort.  Prior to joining Prospera, Ron was Vice President of Business Development at Davidson Hotels and Vice President Project Finance at Hilton Hotels Corporation where he responsible for over $2 billion in debt and equity transactions.

Ron is an active member of Newsong Community Church, where he was first introduced to the Illumination Foundation.  Ron is involved with charitable organizations including World Vision and Liberty in North Korea, which raises awareness and money to help North Korean refugees seek freedom.  Ron also serves on the board of the Anaheim Transportation Network.

Ron earned his MBA from the Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA and a BA in Business Economics from UCLA.
