Marc is an audit partner in Orange County leading our Southern California Healthcare practice. He has more than 30 years of experience focusing on large health systems, long‑term care providers, hospitals, biotech organizations, payors, healthcare purchasing cooperatives, medical research, and other healthcare service providers.
Marc has extensive experience providing advice and counsel in areas of audits, financial reporting, and tax‑exempt financings. His core strengths and accomplishments include:
Partner in charge of KPMG’s U.S. and Global Audit Healthcare practices, the Southern California healthcare practice, and the firm’s Western Region Audit Methodology and Training group
Serves as an SEC reviewing partner
National instructor for KPMG healthcare professional development courses
Served a rotation in KPMG’s Department of Professional Practice
Marc frequently publishes articles and speaks on healthcare financial reports and other current topics. He is the past editor of the AICPA Audit and Accounting Guide for Health Care Organizations.
His other activities include being a past chairperson on the Principles & Practices Board at the Healthcare Financial Management Association, serving on the Board of Logos School (a St. Louis middle and high school dedicated to assisting students and their families with academic and emotional needs which have not been met in the traditional classroom), and serving on the Board of Laumeier Sculpture Park (a 96‑acre outdoor museum designed to encourage creative thinking through exhibitions, educational programs, and contemporary art).
