Southern California’s Top Chefs and Restaurants Serving Illumination Foundation’s Chef’s Table Culinary Gala on March 24, 2024 to Support Unhoused Families in Orange County

 Proceeds of Event to Support New Family Emergency Home for Those Experiencing Homelessness

SANTA ANA, Calif., February 28, 2024 – Illumination Foundation, a nonprofit organization with the mission to disrupt the cycle of homelessness, will host their 11th Annual Chef’s Table culinary gala on March 24 at 4:30 p.m., at the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim. Southern California’s most renowned chefs will prepare and serve a multiple course gourmet meal tableside to help raise funds to provide housing and healthcare services to families experiencing homelessness in the community. Golden Eagle Foundation and Tarsadia Foundation will be honored at the event for their ongling support of Illumination Foundation’s mission.

Chef’s Table is presented by Disneyland Resort, a long standing supporter of Illumination Foundation and its mission. Chef’s Table provides guests a unique dining experience to interact with the chef while their amazing meal is being prepared tableside. 

Andrew Sutton, Executive Chef Disneyland Resort; Chef Amar Santana from Vaca; Chef Kori Sutton; other acclaimed chefs from local restaurants; and 400 individuals, business, and community leaders will gather to support Illumination Foundation.

Proceeds from this year's Chef’s Table will support a new family emergency home to serve families experiencing homelessness. This home will be a safe place for children and parents to recieve wraparound supportive services while they get back on their feet and into a position where they can thrive. During their stay, families work towards attaining permanent housing and gaining employment.

Illumination Foundation served nearly 7,000 people in 2023 through their navigation centers/shelters, family emergency shelters, recuperative care centers, multi-service centers, micro-communities, housing programs, and other community support services.

This year’s Chef’s Table will once again be co-chaired by Illumination Foundation Board Members Dr. Jacqueline DuPont-Carlson and Karen Jordan.
