Permanent Supportive Housing

Permanent supportive housing is an intervention that combines affordable housing assistance with best-practice services for individuals and families with disabilities and a lengthy history of homelessness.
The services are designed to build independent living and tenancy skills and connect people with community-based health care, treatment and employment services. The PSH model has been demonstrated to permanently keep the majority of persons who enter the program from ever becoming homeless again.
