Permanent Housing Program (HPRP)
Address the economic root cause of homelessness in Orange County by transitioning families and individuals into affordable permanent housing to facilitate long-term stability.

2010 Goals
- Serve 100 families in permanent housing program
- Ensure 70 families maintain housing for 6 months
Broad Plan of Action
- Create a safety net for newly homeless families at risk of spiraling downward into chronic homelessness.
- Effectively move families from homelessness through the Interim Housing Program into permanent affordable housing.
- Crisis Intervention & Short-Term Stabilization: place families in Interim Housing to address crisis needs
- Screening, Intake and Needs Assessment: Develop an action plan which includes short and long-term goals and objectives for each client
- Provision of permanent housing: Assist families in moving into permanent, affordable housing by helping them overcome barriers to obtaining permanent housing
- Collaborate with public agencies and private partners to provide On-going Case Management and Wrap-Around Services
