Interim Housing Program
Bridge the gap between emergency shelters and permanent housing to provide Interim Housing and comprehensive services to underserved homeless families with children.

2010 Goals
- Serve 120 families in Interim Housing program
- Graduate 60 families into permanent housing
- Empower 40% of adults to secure employment and 25% to continue their education
Broad Plan of Action
- Use existing motel rooms to provide housing to homeless families without capacity constraints.
- Collaborate with public agencies and private partners to provide extensive services to families on-site: Case management, medical services, mental health counseling, job training, financial literacy, tutoring and life skills.
- A low entry threshold that serves all types of homeless families including single mothers with children, single fathers with children, families with teenagers and pregnant women and those with mental health or addiction issues
- Ensure that children are able to complete and excel during the full academic year at the same school.
- Measure client outcomes with a detailed Outcome Matrix to ensure clients meet several important benchmarks
- Use collaboration and in-kind services to leverage the dollars we spend
